Well, I was thinking that there would be multiples of the regular army
builders (5-10 of each?), and a whole bunch of different ones for merchants,
peasants, and maidens (signs as well?).

Yes, simply because other themes really don't use shields to the extent that
castle does and the dies would be made to cut a whole lot of shields on that
sheet. Also I think castle is the best theme! :)
