  Serious trouble in finishing the Dutch translation
 
Hi! PLEASE HELP! Recently I wanted to finish the Dutch language DLL for MLCad. Opening the DSW file I got this message: Code page 1252 is required to support a German (Austria) language resource in this file. See the "Multiple Language Resource (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

1) Colors I build mostly with white, tan, trans-white (clear) and trans-light-blue. Unfortunately, three of those colors aren't displayed in the Colors tool bar, and two of them aren't even in the first 16. It'd be wonderful if I could place any (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hi. What is optional line exactly? I am trying to translate it to Czech but I cannot figure out what optional line exactly is. It makes 4 vertexes regardless on how many do I type in. Pretty much, just install wine, then use it to install winzip. use wine to unpack the ldraw parts. run winzip under wine to unzip mlcad run mlcad under wine : ) There are some functions that don't work even with the latest version of Wine, but (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

When traslating online help, be careful. It's a little bit outdated. Some inaccuracies I've tracked down: In section "Zooming", file generic.html there are wrong shortcuts for zooming (shift instead of ctrl+shift) and for moving (ctrl+shift instead (...) Just a little note... Having switched to Linux and pretty much all the basics working I started looking for alternatives to MLCAD and various other Windows programs... Quick followup with more notes: I have MLCad set to be my default program to load LDraw files. It works just fine with opening files on my hard drive, but it will fail to open the file when LUGNET passes it 'ldraw.cgi.' Is this an MLCad problem? (I (...) I just downloaded MLCad after a long hiatus and I love the new version. I'm particularly having fun with the Minifig Generator. OS like win2000 or XP uses a title bar with millions of shades of blue or whatever color you might use. this messes up the color table when you start to convert your 16 million-color-files. your BMP uses, say 20-30 colors for (...) (...) Paint Shop Pro is definitely good, another two worth checking out are: GIMP for win32 (a port of the most famous Linux graphics app) and Pixia, which is more like Painter (Gimp is more photoshop). Both are freeware (and maybe even open source) (21 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Welcome! Well, you are in luck since the author of MLCad is German too. For language change goto Settings > General > Change... On the tab General you can change the language and restart MLCad. Hi Sybrand, As far as I know, the answer is no because you can only set the Ldraw base path in MLCAD. I suppose the program then figures out Ldraw\P, Ldraw\Parts and Ldraw\Models by itself. However, there is no limit to saving files in a common (...) (21 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hello all, The subject pretty much says it all. I am currently working on a project that I will need Dark Orange for, but I can't seem to figure out the right color number in MLcad for it. Ok, ok... It *was* more a door than an airlock. But <sniffle>, it was a first attempt. Maybe I will have an airlock by the end of this weekend. But is this actually an airlock, or a docking port? I've noticed that alot of the 'airlocks' made here aften feature only one door. They look more like a docking ring to me- anybody opening the door in outer space to go outside would quickly lose (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.space)
