wow, cool! I just did the same, absolutely no problems, with generic wine from
a redhat 7.2 install.

you mean something ELSE to cheer about :) You can also look at leocad, which I
believe had a native linux version (though I did find it a bit slow).

| (...) I didn't really like the LEOCAD interface much. Also MLCAD seems much more advanced, with stuff such as hose and minifig generator. As for the cheering, at that time I was working on a MOC, ran out of bricks and put myself to the Wine/MLCAD (...) (22 years ago, 27-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

| Just a little note... Having switched to Linux and pretty much all the basics working I started looking for alternatives to MLCAD and various other Windows programs... After some looking I found nothing and therefore decided to try and get MLCAD to (...) (22 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad) !
