I just cleaned up the main page, added the Help Desk and a new download page for LdGLite. I also added sidebar links for Help and MOTM. Hi - I'm looking for one or two people who think they have a good working knowledge of the DAT utilities and how they work together to run the sort-of LDraw.org 'help desk.' Perhaps in the future could could we also have a contest where the actual .dat or .mpd file is available for viewing? Yeah - I wasn't sure what to submit either. The long shot shows the overall construction the best (when you bring up the enlarged picture), but its certainly not very impressive for the thumbnail. Cathedral of Ice is nice, but the rendering doesn't show it off very well. It doesn't look very much like a Lego construction, and it looks tiny when it is shot from the high viewpoint. For the past week, I have been working with Michael Lachmann and Jacob Sparre Andersen to give LDraw.org a more MLCad focus. When I started using MLCAD/L3P/POV-RAY, I had quite a few issues. - Installation - The existing ldraw.org was pretty good in instructing how to find and install these things. We have been doing a lot of thinking and planning for the future focus of LDraw.org recently. Within a week or so, a new section of the site is planned to be released. How about recognizing, either on the front page, or on the download page, the most prolific part authors per vote or per year. Hi all, Just a quick survey of opinion. Given the fact that I oversee the voting, is there any objection to me submitting an entry in the MOTM? That's funny, Since my model was up for voting, the thought of trying to stuff the votes did pop into the back of my head. Hi all, OK, listen up. This message is for a small percentage of people out there. Voting more than once for a model does not work. All IP addresses are logged and it is easy to spot duplicates.
