One of the weaker spots in my PB4Y-2 model is the engines. They are very basic. I'd like some advice on how I can make more realistic engines. (...) I had to buy the canopies on BrickBay. I bought quite a few parts on BrickBay in fact, mainly for the turrets, but also some of the slopes in the tail. Nice job. Very nice job. I spent a number of years working at a hobby/military history shop and love it when people produce models of lesser known hardware. I love the bomber's station especially. Very Impressive model. I love to see the models of the USAAF and USNAF. This gives me more incentive to find the time to finish my in-design B-24. Heya'all! When building any sort of aricraft, one of the most challenging thing, is coming up with a cockpit that not only resembles the real thing, but also allows room for a minifigure. I definitely like the landing gear. Simple to build, yet visually tasty. I also like the taper along the aft section of the body. I haven't figured out how to taper properly - yet. (...) The technic propeller (which I can't find in Partsref unfortunately, but is used on the tail of the 8412 Wasp) is 9 wide. You can mount two back to back on an axle so they are only 1 deep. (...) Thanks for the compliments, Gary. The camera is my brother-in-law's Canon Powershot S10 Zoom, which has a 2 MegaPixel image capability. Hi all, I finally completed my rendition of a German train from WWII. All told, it's over 12.5 feet long (over 3.8 meters - I believe this makes the double entendre in the subject heading perfectly valid :D), and comprises 11 cars: BR52 Steam (...)
