Heya'all!

When building any sort of aricraft, one of the most challenging thing, is
coming up with a cockpit that not only resembles the real thing, but also
allows room for a minifigure.

Many people have come up with ingenous way's of combating the challenge of
building cockpits, I have decided(deciding) to put together a massive
brickshelf gallery with individual cockpit's for different planes, people
would be able to use the cockpit ideas for their own models, or modify it,
or just to garner insipration to create their own. It would use lots ideas
from other people, but would also consist of my own ideas, I plan on
starting with just WWII and KW aircraft, but gradually advancing to modern
airplanes. Each section will contain a picture of the plane, as well as • the
cockpit(s) made out of lego for that plane. Each cockpit will also be
cadded, as my collection of clear parts isn't too big, but ther is always
Brickbay to buy the parts you need to make the cockpit.

I have already started some planes,

Let me know what you think of this idea and if I should keep at it, I hope
someday, to have over 100 different plane canopies in the folder, • hopefully,
this will also inspire people to build planes that they would never have
considered building for fear of the cockpit.

One last thing, I'd definitely be open to people helping out by • contributing
ideas and such, I would put them up, and cad them, but they would get • credit
for the idea.

I'm pretty busy at the moment so if this does go through, It might be • awhile
before I get it all up.

Thanks, LMKWYT!
