Thanks Lindsay. I do intend to make a shield for the 88mm gun at some point, I
just haven't gotten around to it thus far. However, I have already made one of
the 4-pylon mounts[1] for it though, so it can be removed from the flatbed and
set up as an anti-tank emplacement.
I originally omitted the cowcatcher since the source material I was using
didn't show any (e.g. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=71501).
I've since found some pics that do have a nice hefty no-fooling-around
cowcatcher, as in the following pic:

It might be nice to add one both for threatening damsels in distress, and for
sweeping pesky allied/resistance sabatoeurs off the tracks ;)

Hmmmm, that's what I'm thinking ... a dockside scene with train platform,
warehouses, inn/tavern, and lots of crates, barrels, nets, tools, equipment,
trucks, cars lying around ... what perfect scenery!
