This is what I have been doing in documenting the complete redesign of my
minifig scale space shuttle orbiter.

To the casual observer, the new orbiter isn't remarkably different from the old
one, since they are basically built to the same scale 1 stud=1 ft.

However there is no comparision between the two shuttles when it comes to the
features, details, construction, and engineering - the new version is far more
advanced. In fact, not a single component or system design was retained from the
old orbiter. I have used callouts in many of the photos to highlight the shuttle
systems that viewers might easily overlook or not even be aware of. The only
drawback is it's a bit time consuming to document all the features. Indeed, I
have only got around to posting about half of the technical shots so far!
