(...) OK. I'll read up. At the moment, I'm staring at a midium size paper cup. I think I'll slice it in half and see how good a reflector it is. I suppose the studs on an 8x8 plate were probably acting like baffles in my last experiment. (19 years ago, 3-May-07, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Re: Informations on new TECHNIC element and color coded parts

(...) Okay, at first look of this part, I was thrilled, but mainly because I'm not a hard core technic builder, and often I prefer form over function. At second look, and some consideration, I was bummed, because I hate the idea of losing function (...) (19 years ago, 3-May-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) Nice work, Allister. The poseability you've achieved is excellent. Even though I'm not much of a mech grokker, I can appreciate the poseability you've achieved. And handstands? Trés cool indeed. Spotlighted, naturally. Cheers Richie Dulin (19 years ago, 3-May-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Well, I call it a frame, but it'll never support any more weight than there is on it now. Anyway... (URL) This was actually inspired by a creation of my 8yo son's. | | RE: RCX vs. NXT

No, these are for Lego-geeks only, who can recognize a Mac/PC parody using NXT/RCX instead. Very clever, kudos to the team that put them together. Alas, if you're looking for an academic comparison between the two, this isn't the place to find it. (...) (19 years ago, 3-May-07, to lugnet.robotics)
