Hey Kelly, To me, we need two things: 1. Some kind of guide to "where to go first" for new AFOLs (pointers to main community sites, Brickshelf, Flickr, Bricklink etc) 2. A massive, user-updatable database of links for everyone else. I'd say you (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Thanks for the photo's, Todd. And, congrats to all who participated in what appears to be a great fest. I mostly focused on the town/train photos. There are many great creations in there from the factories, the tree house, the colors on the (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: LEGOFan Lives, and wants your feedback

(...) Hi Ben, I would absolutely love to get an interim page or three up - and if you have the time to develop a links page, I'll pass that by the rest of the LF group and get it online asap. Now that BF is complete, I can concentrate more on this. (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGOFan Lives, and wants your feedback

Hi Kelly, Thank you for the update. Do you have an idea of how long the site will be without content? The biggest problem I see is not having LEGOfan.org online with any content. I would like to see temporary html pages linking to various AFOL (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Displays at Fests

(...) Ted, These are interesting questions to me as we are working to finalize arrangements for Brickworld. Personally, I make robots and they are "hands-on" items, so I don't want stanchions around my stuff at all. But, as you noted, the event (...)   New Technic Ferrari?

How long has this kit existed? It looks amazing! I don't think it has been discussed on Lugnet yet. Like the TLC Enzo, it does not look like it has any shocks or transmission, but from these pictures it is hard to tell. (URL) me it has a closer (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Displays at Fests

While at BrickFestPDX 2007 last weekend it occurred to me that there was a problem with displaying microscale MOCs and vignettes. The public were being kept behind stanchions at arms-length from the tables on which the MOCs were displayed. I moved (...)   Re: My BrickFest 2007 Pictures are posted to Brickshelf

(...) Thanks for posting those, Todd... some great pix in there. My biggest regret about the event was that I didn't take enough time to take pictures of all the people and MOCs that I wanted to. Nevertheless, here's my Brickshelf BF07 gallery: (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Brickworld 10183 Hobby Train Challenge

(...) LDD 2.0 has a "filter" function that allows you to use only the pieces from the 10183 set, though it does not have the ability to keep track of the number of elements used from that set. The Hobby Train is LEGO© 's attempt to keep 9V trains (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.events, lugnet.fun.community, lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd, FTX)

Re: Brickworld 10183 Hobby Train Challenge

(...) Jeramy, I haven't really used LDD. Is there a way to limit the parts to only those in the Hobby Train? And, while I'm at it, what exactly is the Hobby Train? (...) Sounds cool. I may have to give it a try. Thanks Steve (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.events, lugnet.fun.community, lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Brickworld 10183 Hobby Train Challenge

This summer at Brickworld, I'll be hosting a train building challenge.
