8858-2: Engines
I have two of these and they were somewhat different. All the bricks were from
the same era and in rather good shape. 3040 b slope brick 45 2x1, one set had
with center studs and one set had no center studs.
69c01 blue Tap 1x2 Assembly with Gray Spout, one set had gray spouts and one set
had crome spouts
8844-1: Helicopter
3040b blue Slope Brick 45 2x1 in my set had no center studs.
3711 black technic link chain lists at 28 with 4 extra, I had 29 with 5 extra.
I think mine is right as this is not a common part and the inventory on Peeron
was done from instructions and I am not sure how 4 extra would come up that way.
8845-1: Dune Buggy
This was another hard one. some of my technic sets got messed up in the
Northridge earthquake. Thanks to Lego's flop lid technic sets. This had
several extra parts which may have been included so to motorize this set. Any
additional information would really help. The extra parts were:
3708 black technic axle 12, one more than is listed
3673 oldgray technic pin, 3 more than was listed
9244 old gray technic Universal Join, 1 more than was listed
8842-1: Go-Cart
3749 old gray technic axle pin 5 not 4
