The part title for light.dat is as follows:
Pov-RAY Light Source (useless to give a color to it)
This title is wrong. Even the L3P thats been out for years pays attention to
the color, and creates a light source that matches the given color. Granted,
its not a perfect match to part colors, since the brightness has a different
meaning.
Im not sure what the proper procedure would be to get this corrected. I can
submit a light.dat to the Parts Tracker with an updated title; is this the
correct thing to do in this situation?
Note that part of the reason for my post here was to bring peoples attention to
the fact that the color is important. There was another thread fairly recently
that showed that many people are unaware of this.
