I spent several more hours playing with this yesterday. Changed the top of the boiler to use the 2x6 'train' roof bricks, this allows a nice smooth tiled top. I also got a pretty good start on the tender, but I'm still waiting for pieces. (The (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

It is my belief that as long as LEGO® markets trains toward children, we won't see much progress being made. Here is the right way to sell lego trains, these are the sets to have: 1.several train sets, all unpowered, as a starting point (all train sets + all add-on locomotives would show ways to add motors and in some cases lights as well).
