Hi all,

Frank 'Pudie' Abel, a co-Afol of the FGLTC has built a really beautiful
Rheingold-Express train. That was shown yesterday at the
FGLTC end-of-year-show in Hattersheim. It might appear as an ISCC II gallery
as well ( http://www.creativity-contest.net/ ), but I think it is such a great
design (have a look at the light inside!) - one should share it right now.

Take a look at it under these
URLs:

Other nice train models have been these:

And this has been a real bummer! A train station in XXL size one again after
the one we have had at our spring meeting:

and the one we have seen one year ago:

As you can guess from these first pictures, the show was a full success. There
have been by far more than 100 fans from all over Germany, Luxemburg, Austria,
Switzerland and even Norway. We had a very nice time there (with lots of
support with nice drinks and finest meals). Thank you to all who made this
meeting such a nice one - especially at 'Pudie' who did the main organization
work and booked the nice meeting place!

Kind Regards,

Ben

(...) Wow, amazing stuff! (...) I considered going, but the (ICE) traintrip would take 4 hours from Amsterdam and the Dutch Railways wouldn't give a quote on the price for a ticket on the website :-( Maybe next year I'll come for a whole weekend and (...) (...) Wow! I really like this one...is the lettering that says "Rheingold" SNOT or is it a sticker of some kind? (My question may be answered when folder becomes public, oh well.) (...) Very nice. (...) Incredible! I already had a sneak preview, but this is really AMAZING! (...) WOW! This has to be one of the best-looking MOC's wrt modelling the streamline diesel noses as were used in the 60's in Europe. Totally incredible and 100% life-like. (...)
