If you are thinking about the Sony Mavica, consider the Olympus C3000/C3030, incredibly good image quality, 3.3 Megapixel images, 16 or so possible quality settings, I use the HQ setting and a 64MB smartmedia card to get over 80 shots before I need (...) ummm, the Mars Exploration Expansion Pack doesn't come with a camera at all... from what i have heard it pretty much sucks. just a few parts that are cool and the longest wires you canget that is all. m. Hi all. I've got the technic Destroyer Droid, and it's a lovely model, with that great rolling feature. However, the head has a distressing tendency to pop off in the midst of rolling. (...) Great! It's just like a Mindstorms jack. There is also a "~" symbol next to the 9-12V marking, which means you can supply any polarity you like. They do, after all, have to make it kid-proof! (...) Heather, As far as I know, the transformer has a plug on the end, so you should be able to go to any RadioShack and get a 9V-800mA(or so) adapter. Just be sure to check polarity. Here's something I've noticed, for Slizers only in America TLG has dumbed down the names. Roboriders being the notable exception. TLG dumbed down the Slizer story the whole group name and even the names of each robot. After looking at Bionicle and (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

The sets dont need to be current... the part I am talking about is a "modular" connector. It has 2 pegholes on the "top", and then a set of 2 pegholes on both sides folowed by 2 more sets of pegholes on the other 2 sides. The ones on top and 2 of (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Yes you can ! It isn't anything else but a momentary switch ! You have to connect your wire to one of the two pins on the right and one of the two pins on the left. I never bothered picking up a Mindstorms set, as I have enough trouble finding time for more traditional building and I know I wouldn't get good use from the RCX. I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but there are 70+ friction pegs, 20 or so extended friction pegs (the ones that can go through 3 holes) and about 12 (I think?) of the "bushing pegs" (...) What I meant by "the other things" was roboriders and bionicle, which were obviously inspired by the success of throwbots.
