I never bothered picking up a Mindstorms set, as I have enough trouble finding time for more traditional building and I know I wouldn't get good use from the RCX. So I don't have a touch sensor of my own. But I'm wondering if it can be used for other things. The question is: can you use the sensor, without an RCX, as a momentary switch to turn on devices? I'd like to wire it between a battery box and a motor (or light) and have it close the circuit. Is this possible to do if I position the wires just right? -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com

(...) Yes you can ! It isn't anything else but a momentary switch ! You have to connect your wire to one of the two pins on the right and one of the two pins on the left. (...) I've been thinking about this. It would be great to use it as a switch but I haven't found the logic in it yet.
