I like the look of the new Jedi books, but haven't had the time to read
anything, let alone something new. Maybe will all of these reccomendations
I'll change that.
Lucas is going to be dead by the time he finishes with Eps. 2&3. As has
been mentioned here, his current vision is the rise and fall and redemption
of Anakin. He's not going to be touching anything after this storyline,
which is part of the reason he's so open to everything all of the authors
have come up with from Zahn on. I've also heard stories of all of the new
authors having meetings a few times a year to discuss ideas, characters, and
continuity. Wouldn't it be a treat to be a fly-droid on the wall there.

| (...) Splinter is one of the few books I haven't read. I've read everything that was published since the Zahn trilogy kind of jump-started the Star Wars craze (well, except for the two new Agents of Chaos series books that are waiting on my (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)
