The site layout looks great but for some reason none of the images will load. I'm currently trying to figure out if this is a problem on my end. Wow, thanks for the kind response Linsay! Actually, I was going to leave it open-frame. Two problems with it: 1) Too ungainly, couldn't even hold it properly 2) Not too cool looking 3) How am I to do the back (I actually wanted to put a *huge* tail (...) I wish you'd kept at that carrier concept--the "traditional" carrier, while still cool, has been done a lot and a carrier that holds its "children" on its frame--I've called them "marsupial carriers", because (...) Good stuff! I was fortunate to find his book, Painted Space, in a flea market of all places for $2 about 4 years ago. Its an amazing book. I also have some Berkey trading cards stashed away somewhere. I agree with Lindsay about how well his work has (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

I've sort of mingled and mangled my TAU and Daedalus references--they're different things, and Daedalus actually dates from the mid-1970s--but you can see the ship in (...)
