It has been a while since I have built any space ships.  I was really
inspired by the great space stuff that people brought to BrickFest (Bram's
Q-35 Space Plane for one) - so I have made time to build and I have started
putting the ideas in my head into brick.

I give you the "Eagle 2" transport -

see also some nice sharp pictures Daniel Staudt took of the ship

Bob, this is awesome!  The first thing I though was that it was
the Eagle.  Next to anything from Trek or Star Wars, that is
the most recognizeable sci-fi ship for me.  If you built
an Eagle to the same "scale", how large would it be by comparison?

Kyle, I am glad that you like it.  I think it is about the same size as the
original Eagle.  The landing pods would be bigger, as would the center
section.  I am sorry the link did not work.  Try
http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Launchpad/9782/eagle.html there are
some cool picture with rendered images of Eagles pasted in real photos.

The ship is very much a take off of the Eagle from Space 1999
(http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Launchpad/9782/eagle/eagle3v.jpg).

This link was dead.  Do you know of any other decent picture
links for the Eagle?
