Although it would even be possible to do the double wire for me, just really
wacky... I think I'd have to connect the opponent's signal to the same port as
my scanner light sensor, and then my wire out to a home sensor that's not
connected to my RCX at all. (I would detect position with light or rotation...)
So really anything's fine, but in the interests of elegance, I say single wire
with two parallel breaks.
btw-- The way my AI is set up, it needs a runtime setting that represents 'how
smart' the other bot is. This is so it can prune the move tree and be rid of
arms that branch from stupid moves the opponent could've made. :) The memory
that this frees up allows it to think farther down the road on the more likely
course the game is to take.
