What should it be?

I wanted to toss out one more though.

One of the more common restrictions for most RTL events is starting
size for a robot.  In some cases the challenges have been specifically
designed to work against this (bridge building, rope climbing, even
the last one) requiring (or preferring) a robot that changes shape
(i.e. to reach across something, grab a rope).

Sometimes this means that a size/shape changing robot (or cluster bot)
can have significant advantages over non-changing bots.  Two examples
of this are the king of the hill bot that stretched itself out and
grabbed the whole upper surface (can't remember who's  that was and
can't find the event on the rtlToronto page) and Dave K's bot in
project Y.  Both were brilliant (IMO).

Has there ever been an event that limited the size for the entire
duration of a game, not just at the beginning?  Would there be
advantages/disadvantages to such a game?

Just a question to ponder...

P.S. How good is the Lego light sensor at seeing retro-reflective tape
on a cylinder?
