BUT Keith Goldman makes Iron Reich creations you might say...
Well, yes, he does, but they dont specifically relate to Nazism or Germany
circa WWII (as far as I can tell). Fascism still exists in the world, and
probably will never be eradicated. It is a broad, loosely defined idea that
keeps coming back throughout history. Keith is simply addressing this
concept, just as Leonard Hoffman frames his creations around a Communist
backdrop. On the other hand Nazism is dead and should stay that way. To try
to trivialize it is WRONG.
Regardless, I can see why some people dont find this a big deal. I guess
because the war personally affected my family, it impacts me a bit more.

Id like to point out a difference between trivialization and satire. Much
of what Keith and I do is to satirize and mock the ideologies of our respective
subthemes. (However, I should point out I am a socialist/communist, but I am
not a marxist/leninist/stalinist)
Trivialize would be to make it seem as if the Nazis were not that bad.
Satirizing or Mocking, is to make fun of the Nazis for being ignorant and
stupid. My point here is if we continue to hold some past ideology in some sort
of feared status, then we are continuing to give that ideology power and
influence.
At University of North Florida, one of my anthropology professors (Keith Akins)
conducted a anthropological study (that would be Participant Observer) on the
KKK and NeoNazis in Florida. His insights were amazing - but when asked what
normal people could do to fight this threat, he said: Mock them. Laugh at
them. If you fear them, then they feel empowered. But if you mock them, you
show them for what they really are: pathetic and stupid.

| (...) Orion, perhaps you are right and the majority of people concur, but let me explain myself. Creating WWII-themed guns, minifigs, tanks, dioramas, etc. is okay in my opinion since it is recreating something from the past (it's historical). For (...)
