What about the right-wing Israeli terrorist groups?

What about them? They are condemned by mainstream Israelis, captured and
punished. Constrast that to Palestinian extremists-- they are revered and
held up as heroes.

The right wing Israeli group Ateret Cohanim “is the spiritual focus for the
return of Jews to their homes in the “Moslem” (once known as the Mixed)
Quarter.” (i.e. this group, supported by Sharon, is engaged in ethnic
cleansing). Where does it get its funds? Have a
look,
some of it comes via a registered Charity in the USA called the “American
Friends of Ateret Cohanim”.
Matti Dan, chair of the Ateret Cohanim : “every additional Jewish house and
family is a small victory over the concept that there is a separate Arab quarter
in the Old City.”
The group’s web site promotes “land theft & ethnic cleansing”: “Eretz Yisrael is the homeland of the Jewish
people – it is ours, exclusively. The land was bequeathed to the Jewish people
by the Creator of the Universe, in its entirety, it was and always will be, our
only homeland. The Jewish people are not conquerors of their own land, rather
are the single lawful sovereign within it. After two thousand years we have
returned to resettle the land, all parts of it…. This land, promised to us,
through the pure progression of generations, and the commanded precept to rule
over it in its entirety, exists for eternity and will stand and exist, in its
absolute completeness and our revival within it.”
Is that any differnt to Hamas’s aims (which you find so objectionable)?
Short Term: to bring about an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and
Gaza Strip.
Long Term: settle for a truce with Israel, refer outstanding issues to future
generations.

| (...) I do not consider a society "peaceful" or "peace-loving" if they condone the sending of their citizens to commit cold-blooded murder. Honestly, I'd admire their conviction and resolve a lot more if the suicide bombers killed only themselves in (...) (21 years ago, 27-Mar-04, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)
