Thank you all for sharing your thoughts on this matter.
I was very impressed to see everything from general ideology to specific war
scenarios in the 20 and some odd posts.  Needles to say I can not agree with
some of the opinions I have seen, but that is what makes it even more
interesting.  I had no idea for example that there are people who would not let
their children see armed mechs.  Lego has produced more than several space
models which walk the fine line of being called warships, and lets not even get
into themes such as pirates (the 1990 German Lego Catalog had a large battle
and one minifig was about to have a cannon fired through it, in addition to all
the fighting).
Again, thank you for your input.  Now I will have to go to sleep because I
spend all the time from 1am to 7am building my new Gundam, which of course,
will be armed with the most oversized "overkill" weapons I can build.

Hi everyone, I just want your input on this: I can't help but notice that all of our mechs are very well armed, with the exception of a few which simply look intimidating enough as it is. Each one of our creations is gifted with large destruction (...) (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
