I have gotten these answers from managers before. I even sent an email to TRU
and they told me the same thing. Do you think it's possible that someone at
TRU, if they wanted to, could tell us when the new sets will be on shelves? • My
reasoning is thus- 1. A TRU buyer went to ToyFare and ordered x number of
sets. 2. Lego probably told them when to expect delivery (this would be
important, I think, so that they could plan sales for the holidays, etc.)2.
That means TRU knows when to expect them from Lego, and unless they are
completely clueless, they know when they'll be able to get them to • warehouses,
and then stores.

What do you think?

Chris
Don't Lego employees, or at least contracted employees of Lego, stock the Lego
aisle at TRU?  Wouldn't this mean that the regular TRU worker really doesn't
have any idea of when the Lego sets will be stocked.  They may be in the back
room, but TRU might be unable to put them out on the aisles themselves.

Sounds kindof silly, but I thought that that is how it worked.

Well LEGO has manufacturers reps that vist many retailers to check on stock
levels, placement, appearance and such tasks.  They will take and fill the
shelves if they are not full(and sometimes if they are!) if the stock is on
hand.  But they do NOT stock all the LEGO product that goes on the shelves.
mostly it is filled by the store employees (I have done this myself).  I have
talked with the reps, about whatever was going on.  I voiced my concerns and
likes also :^)  Not that I believe that it would filter up to TOP management,
that COULD not happen from what I see of thier structure and direction of
movement? momentum? path taken? whatever its called.......
