And of course, the Black Seas Barracuda (or Dark Shark, for that matter) is
not a fish either ;-)

Sure... I agree. Not my point though, which is this: What makes Dark Shark
the "original" name, or the "correct" name rather than BSB?

I don't know.

That wasn't my point though, which is on this: on the basis that the Santa
Fe Super Chief is incorrectly named, so are the Skull's Eye Schooner, Black
Seas Barracuda and Dark Shark. And far easier to spot (well, maybe not the
schooner, but certainly the two fish names).

Well sure. I agree!
Cool.

But, see, I'm not arguing with *you*!!!
Good.

I'm disputing the assertion that BSB is the "wrong" name but Dark Shark is
the "right" name which was made upthread. I see no prima facie basis for
that assertion, and was asking for some support for it from the person who
made it, or anyone else either for that matter.

Any 6285 distributed by LEGO Australia would be correctly called a 'Dark
Shark'. It would therefore be the original name *in Australia*.

Private imports may well be BSBs, and the rerelease is definitely a BSB.

But of course, all names of the 6285 are technically incorrect anyway ;-)

You seem to be making a rather different point, one which(once again I
repeat) I am not disputing, but one which, when reasserted by you, is
unfortunately not helping get my question answered. Perhaps that's your
intent, I can't really say. Perhaps there's no justification for the
assertion I am questioning at all?

I was shifting the topic from which name is 'correct' to incorrect names of
sets - following on from your assertion that the SFSC is 'incorrectly'
named. (Which was only a parenthetical aside, but worthy of comment
nevertheless).

Cheers

Santa Fe Super Brig, perhaps?

(...) OK, now you're making the assertion too, and just as unsupportedly. Granted that LEGO originally released this set with multiple names in english speaking countries... they apparently have now decided to use just one. What makes your statement (...)
