I noticed that too.. It seems that the current sets aren't
designed with duplicate purchases in mind. They're meant
to be nice little playsets that augment each other a little,
but don't encourage buying duplicates and having an
expandable model. It's really a shame. Perhaps this
increases sales for them, I don't know. I'd love to see a
series of sets that connect together with pins/sockets
to form long castle walls, with inns and armouries and
the like.. Oh well, keep dreaming I guess. :)
LOTR would make a wonderful theme. I think so would
D&D... Perhaps even one of the AD&D subsets, like
Dragonlance or something.
