(...) Hi Mitchell, LPub has no support for autostep. I didn't even know about it until you mentioned it. LPub supports STEP and ROTSTEP meta commands, but not autostep. If I understand correctly, LDraw's Autostep is set as the default and requires no other changes (if you will accept a new step after adding each new part). Your computer is just fine to handle the POV-Raying. I made many animations on my old PII400. What got me going was this here animation tutorial: (URL) didn't actually use the "ClockMod" tools described here, though. But I found the tutorials useful (...) (URL) uses Anton Raves' POV-Ray library. You can create many minifigs with it, and best yet, you can walk them. Option one is to walk it in a straight line--boring. Option two, walk it on a spline. But what I do with an L3Lab output (which is how I generate my static images in POV from LDraw files) is immediately strip the camera and viewpoint stuff out and make it into an .inc file, my main file just includes what (...) LDA outputs both .dat files for the indiviual frames but also one master .dat that has references to the single-frame files, separated by CLEAR and STEP. L3P supports (...) Hello, when I used the new MLCAD arrows in submodels, I always had one problem: I couldn't ghost them. Only MLCAD interpreted the ghosted arrows correctly, the other programs (LPub, LDView...) didn't. Where's the problem? MLCAD does not ghost the (...) thanks again (...) I don't get any error messages. POV renders the scene with no problem it just doesn't pick up the LGEO colors. I have tried this and also the fix on the ldraw page. LGEO files still don't work any suggestions? I don't get the error message. The pov just renders the standard method. Thanks for the help (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

I have seen many of your fantastic creations on Brickshelf. They look very complex and must have taken a long time to build. (...) No, sorry, its not either of them, L3PAO knows the location correctly. the filename is ccb2.pov (mirroring the .mpd filename) and so it is not too long and has no spaces. I have always had problems with the -lgeo (Use LGEO Library). At first I put it down to incorrect installation but I recently re-installed using the all-inone installer. My installation is to D:\Program Files but other than that is pretty much (...) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Mine look purhaps abit 'edgy' since I don't like to use the lgeo library. Too many parts are not available and if I combine them with the standard parts it don't look all that good.
