Whenever you'd like. If you think it would help you focus, or help collect
LDAO ideas, thoughts, and issues together, or give people a more open forum
to talk about LDAO, (or all of the above), then it's yours for the asking.
Here is some data to help you decide if/when you want a focus group for
LDAO. Below are the results of a quick case-insensitive line-grep through
lugnet.cad and lugnet.cad.dev for the words LDAO, LDLITE, and LDRAW. (LDRAW
was included as a normalization factor):
| Total | LDAO LDLITE LDRAW
-----------------+-----------+----------------------------------------
lugnet.cad | 1666 | 234 (14%) 375 (22%) 719 (43%)
lugnet.cad.dev | 1439 | 79 (5%) 191 (13%) 692 (48%)
lugnet.cad.* | 3105 | 313 (10%) 566 (18%) 1411 (45%)
Of course this table is only a guide, and is completely unscientific. What
you feel in your gut is probably the most accurate indicator of how useful a
focus group would be.
A 14% rate of mention in the .cad group is nothing to sneeze at.

p.s. I see that the smilie you wrote was a winkie one, but it's still a
perfectly valid question.

| (...) Yep, that's pretty much where I'm at. Especially since I use my newsreader for scanning the groups, and I hop over to the web interface specifically to look at the postings in lugnet.cad.dat. Other than mixing DAT's with discussion, I'm pretty (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.admin.general)
