I have used L3P for years, and suddely it went on strike. AutoExec.bat still contains: SET LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw And the SET command still outputs: LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw And C:\Windows\ldraw.ini still contains: BaseDirectory=f:\LDraw But running the .bat (...) (17 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

As if there weren't enough of color lists, I've also made one myself.. This one is from an L3 user's point of view, that is L3Lab and L3P.   Are the metallic colours defined in LDraw?
 
Hi all, I was wondering if the metallic colours from Racers sets etc (what I call faux-chrome) have ldraw colours. I can't find the numbers for them but that doesn't guarantee they don't have numbers. In my opinion there should be if there is not as (...) (17 years ago, 15-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I think I just answered my own question. I applied the inverse rotation (calculated by swapping the off-diagonals) to the translation row of the original transformation and then negated it to get the translation row in the inverse. That worked (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad)

I decided to model the very well known GG1 locomotive as a model available from LEGO Factory. I took some liberties with the design and color scheme in order to accomodate what can be done in LDD. Does anyone know how to generate an inverse matrix. By inverse I mean it will undo the rotation of the original matrix. I thought the inverse of <1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0> was <-1,0,0,0,-1,0,0,0,-1,0,0,0>. In other words, multiply every value by -1. (...) (18 years ago, 7-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad)

In the nearly seven years since I released LDView 0.1, I've never once run into an LDraw file that LDView couldn't handle due to line terminations, and it requires the newline character to be present at the end (...) Hello all, I think there may have been some prior discussion on this issue, but I can't recall the answer. I would like to export files from LDD 2.0 to LDRAW using the File -> Export option. But the resulting LDR files only contain a few bricks, not (...) (18 years ago, 6-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Hi, Last Saterday it arrived, my 10183. It is an awesome set with loads of parts and possibilities. But after building the crocodile (building instructions included in the box), we (my daughter, son and I) wanted to build one (or two) of the other (...) The part title for light.dat is as follows: Pov-RAY Light Source (useless to give a color to it) This title is wrong.
