[ FUT lugnet.cad.dev ] (...) [...] (...) I ran into some problems with windowless rendering (on Linux/IA32 and Linux/Alpha). Apparently you have to upgrade to Mesa 4.0 to get access to this feature. Hello, I would like to see a 'Comment' entry feature in the part tracker, so you can do comments and questions without voting or resetting the votes. That would be very important. Last week someone in the world posted the Lego Beretta Series 92 9mm pistol that I built over a year ago on www.fark.com. (URL) page typically gets like 20 hits a week. Thanks for the reply. After some research and plowing thru the POV manual I experimented with adding simular lines to the main pov.ini file and got the results I was looking for. It would certainly be nice if Jeff Boen (of L3PAO fame) added the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dev)

Is this you're problem: the hinge is rendered as closed when it should be open. If so, then open "LG_3149.INC" and either comment out or delete the following text: #declare lg_3149 = union { object { lg_3149a texture { lg_red } } object { lg_3149b } (...) i just downloaded and installed povray. i also got the LGEO parts .zip file. do i just unzip LGEO into the include folder in povray's directory? sorry if that seems like i basic question, but i new to raytracing and povray. (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad)

Hello Eduardo, No. I used standard MLCad/L3p/POVRay combination, then set a clock to render the two scenes. I played a long time until i got the wanted result but it worked out in the end. (...) Nice part. Somehow 2 copies of it got inserted in your post. I think the white quads with black edges should use the default colors instead. Leave the buttons black though. Hello! Talking of animations: I did this movie a long time ago with POVRay. Its like 50 MB uncompressed. I used DivX to compress is and it is less then one megabyte now. So please take a look at it.
