Hi all,

I uploaded my first experimental animation to the BrickShelf.

I plan to create a little animated story with Lego objects (buildings,
vehicles, minifigs etc.). This animation is only to test the technology,
(lighting, camera moving, moving/rotating parts/subparts etc.)

Impressive most impressive!!! I what to learn how to do that show me please,
is it easy?.

I really like the way you rende the lights.
Did you use Pov-ray and the l3p way or Anton Rave's lib?

I use Pov-Ray's inner loop to create the individual frames, since in this
animation mainly the non-DAT parameters change with time, and model itself
is fixed (except the slowly closing backdoor). However I will study the
other Ldraw related animation tools, because later in this story the model
itself will move a lot.

Congrats to Carsten Schmitz, he posted recently a very impressive animation
to lugnet.cad which uses a very similar concept than mine.

Please let me know what you think

(...) Thanks for the comments, I shortly describe what method I applied: 1. I built a model with LEdit/MLCAD, the land rover from the Canadian Mountains set (6552). (Originally I planned to submit it to the OMR, but I guess somebody already did). I (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad)
