I am running MLCad 2.00 R 4 and I think I may have found a bug in the report for parts I have a large model with several submodels. If I check parts per step and leave submodels unchecked it seems to generate a correct list for the main model. But (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) I would suggest using bits from part 30056 for the bottom half. That's what I did when I worked on the quarter panel with spherous top. Also I would use 1-4CYLI.DAT, 1-4EDGE.DAT, and and 1-4RING3 primitives in the file to reduce size. (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Well, found out that if I start MLCad indirectly by double-clicking on a .DAT or .MPD file, the default grouping is shown. But if I open MLCad first before loadint a model, then the groupings I set up are shown. And I am using an older (v1.99) (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

99% finished, but I was hitting burn-out factor on this one. The bottom needs work, for now has bottom studs in place of the boxed off sections. I like that idea. If the default view is what you said (the [0.707104 ...] matrix), then a projection matrix of 1.4142,0,0,0,1.2196,...171,1.2247 in front of it would give the same effect as the original LDRAW default matrix. Should we change the default view to be something that is (what is the word..."only made from rotation matricies and does not produce shearing"? det(A)=1?). It bugs me that the default is flawed that way, although there are some other (...) (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hello all. I am a new LDRAW/MLCAD user, and am learning quickly. Today, for the fun of it, and for learning purposes, I built up a model of the tow truck in set 6468 (my son has it). I'm not sure if I mentioned this yet, but the pesky ldglite bugs with MESA perspective mode have been fixed and a new version is up on the sourceforge. I still have to incorporate the new ldlite 2.3 bugfix for large MPD files, but it works for now (...) (23 years ago, 4-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Nope. There's no way of getting at those roads & utilities. And, you're right. There are different resolution images of those roads and utilities, depending on which zoom you're using.
