Bad form. Repetition of this kind can lead to suspension from a group. It's
happened before.

WHO ---- do u think you are Mark!

You copy so many ideas from everyone here and barely give credit (Storm Owl
sure looks and sounds like my own OWL MOC)!

AND EVER HEARD OF SOMETHING CALLED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT!!!

Technically, it's copyright infringement to use a piece in the same way that
Lego uses a piece in an official set. I'm so glad they don't really care.

Jerk!

Bad form again. Family forums like this are not suitable for name-calling.

Actually that's not true. Anyone can copy your designs if they want to. You
don't have to like it, but that's how it is.

True Mark, yet credit should still be given if you have used others' ideas and
can remember that you have. IMO, it also looks more professional if you can
remember and give credit as to who designed what and how it helped you.

So while I stick I my own foot in my mouth about this (cuz my site has no
credits) know that I don't build finished models very often, so it's difficult
to remember where I've seen things and that I have.

My models
are supposed to inspire creativity (the reason I started my site) not • copying,
LEGO is so versatile, anything can be made, so many different combinations.

Well, so much for your argument..

SO
I DON'T WANT ANYONE USING MY DESIGNS ANYMORE!!!

Then don't post them. It's quite simple really..

I wouldn't sweat anyone stealing my designs unless they were my source of
income, which doesn't seem to be the case here. Take it from me: just wait to
you go to Legoland and see a video by someone who stole one of your 'ideas'...
that'll do some mellowing. I didn't know if I was happy or upset, but one
thing I do know: someone thought my idea was worth stealing :-)

You also can't show a decent design and have it not impact the way things are
done in the future, with or without credit. Where would we be today if the guy
who invented the wheel was still around to be pissed off about it?
