Woah!  Take it easy Mladen.  Designing models with LEGO and sharing them is lot
like the entertainment industry; there is no theft it is just influence or
people making tributes to a source of inspiration.  This is the way you should
look at it, Mladen.  You have gone from just another spacer to one of the
premier LEGO space and mecha (not mech, sorry i use this term alot) designers
in less then a year.  Enjoy the level of influence you have, it should make you
feel proud.  When people use/take/'steal' your designs tell them that you are
flattered and ask that they reference you.  These people will in turn push you
to keep creating some of the most wicked mecha and ships around.  Don't mean to
sound like some cornball PSA, but it's true.  Everyone that posts to LUGNET to
some degree does so to see what people think of their models.  When some one
uses your ideas that is the highest praise that you'll receive.  By burning
them, you only serve to isolate yourself.

You copy so many ideas from everyone here and barely give credit (Storm Owl
sure looks and sounds like my own OWL MOC)!

AND EVER HEARD OF SOMETHING CALLED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT!!!

I would reconsider if he was the only person to ask me, but I get 10 • e-mails
each day from people asking me how they love my designs and want to use • them
in their own. Most of the messages I reply to with a yes, but this time no,
this is my model, and no one else has the right to use it except me.

Actually that's not true. Anyone can copy your designs if they want to. You
don't have to like it, but that's how it is.

My models
are supposed to inspire creativity (the reason I started my site) not • copying,
LEGO is so versatile, anything can be made, so many different combinations. • SO
I DON'T WANT ANYONE USING MY DESIGNS ANYMORE!!!

That's too bad. If someone made something using a design of my own, I'd feel
very flattered. Sometimes I borrow things from other Lugnet-ers, and I
always try to give credit when I do. Beyond that... what's the big deal?

well said patrick. it seems strange to me that someone would get THAT upset about a "crime" that hasn't evn been committed, especilly when you consider that the whole mech (oops, excuse me i mean MECHA) thing is "borrowed" from or influenced by (...)
