That being said, I was extremely disappointed to read this, to say nothing of
comments that were made (by more than one person) in the bloodbath that
ensued.
There were things that were said which were unconstructive, and in some cases,
intentionally intended to hurt or attack someone - perhaps I take such things
too
seriously, but I honestly believe, from a *non-religious* standpoint, that
everybody can adopt a moral imperative in their own lives to try to be a "good
person", and try to avoid causing others harm as much as possible.  Anyway, I
found these attacks very ... disappointing.  It's interesting how people
you've
never met can still make you feel let-down, regardless of their intent.

<snip>

I'm sorry it all happened as well. I really didn't expect for my small
disagreeing remark to be met with swearing, hostility, and accusations. Even
if my comment was technically incorrect, I would expect anyone to maintain
stability and just disagree with me in as informed a manner as possible, as
many of you did. Some of you even agreed with me, which leads me to believe
that in matters of law, often it's decided by the best lawyer.

Personally, I tried to keep my replies as calm as possible, and I apologize
to the Lugnet community if anything I said was out of line.

Regardless, I would like to see the tradition of sharing in the Lugnet forum
to continue. I know I started coming here because I got so much inspiration
from everyone, and I liked being able to share as well.

(...) All day yesterday I sat there and debated whether or not I should weigh in on this ... and come back today, and find I missed the flurry altogether. Ah well, better late than never ...
