Random thoughts.

1.  Mladen, you're a lego genius.  I went to your web page and was
    knocked out.

2.  Geniuses are allowed a bit of slack in my book to be temperamental.  :^)

3.  Still, I think that you would be better served by relaxing and toning
down the level of antagonism in your posts just a bit.  A few general
    suggestions --

    a.  avoid namecalling.
    b.  avoid curse words.
    c.  avoid exclamation points.

4.  You're a LEGO genius.  Did I mention that already?

5.  Sometimes I wonder about this 'use someone's idea' thing.
    I don't think there's a way I could ever make a mecha
of the quality that I see on the .net starting from scratch.
But I'm afraid that if I take someone's design and build it
and then start to work with it as a starting point, that my
creation will look too much like theirs.

Similarly, I love to see custom castle creations, but I'm
always a bit afraid that if I wound up borrowing some
design element, someone would cry foul.

That's just to say that I think it's a good idea to have a discussion
about how to best use someone else's design elements in your
own creations.  Perhaps this has already been hashed out and I'm
    a late-comer.

Anyway, I think it pretty cool if someone asks "can I borrow that
leg design for use in my own creation?"  However, it's probably
    (A) better to do that in private, so that if the person says 'no'
then there doesn't have to be a big fight about it, (B) useful to
remember that if you ask for something, the person you are asking
has the right to say "no," and (C) if you're the person saying
"no," remember that it will go over better if you are calm and
polite about it -- point 3 again.

Saying "No, please don't.  How about waiting until I created
    a complete mecha - it's a work in progress and I wouldn't want
to feel influenced or in competition with you."

6.  Anyway, happy building.  It was fun to go look and see a link to
Karim's dragon - it's been a while since I looked at it, and again
as always I am struck by the awe-inspiring talent Karim has, too.

(...) Just say on your web site "I was inspired by So-and-so's cool design for the blah blah part of this castle." (...) Well, and of course point (D), which is that even if they say no, it's not like they have a legal (or perhaps even moral) claim (...) (...) I tell ya, that's all I want to do right now, especially after this bombshell I dropped. Mladen, you're entitled to wanting to keep your designs yours, but your behavior and language is way out of line. Shouting and swearing at folks for (...)
