I volunteer my house! That way I won't have to drag around a bunch of LEGO stuff. I live within 3 blocks of where I-94 & I-696 merge in St. Clair Shores. Here's my net net on this discussion. The 2148/3442 (same design, different colors) design is flawed. A 2x2 turntable plate does not provide enough degrees of freedom. I've put 5 new models up on this page, and updated the TIE Prototype (Vader's fighter) after Jeremy pointed out a design error (Thanks!). dark forest has been discontinued. i checked the lego online catalog for all countries and there were no dark forest sets on it. i think that any dark forest available from either TLG or elsewhere will be remnant sets... (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

What kind of wheels does this front loader use? (URL) picture is from Legoland, CA, taken by Tom Stangl. The wheels look slighly like the old, large Technic wheels, but seem to be more rounded along the edges. But the bucket is from 8459, right? (...) (26 years ago, 22-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

sure he should not put up scans from sets that are shown in the 1999 catalog. BUT have you seen any dark forest in catalogs latley? TLG has had 2 castle subthemes since dark forest (fright knights,ninja) and therefore why would it continue to make (...) (26 years ago, 22-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

The SW models really do captrure the essence of the various ships quite well. It's really impressive to see such a good portrayal of these SW ships with such a small number of parts. (...) ITIISVC - I think it is very cool - Great imagination and microfig scale may have some possibilities for LARGE fleets and animations. The microfig is not used enough I think. (...) Don't worry, it safe. I change arms all the time to get the look that I want for a minifig. The best way to do it is to leave the hand on so that you have more leverage. Turn the arm so that it is perpendicular to the front of the torso. Then (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)
