I've tried to come up with a construction that would fit a wedge
configuration, but with little success. My base idea is to model the
"scout" from the Traveler game, which is similar in shape to a Star Wars
Star Destroyer, but very much smaller (2-3 crew). Getting the point for the
wedge is where I fall down (usually knocking my head on the floor VERY
hard). But your design has given me some ideas that may work. We'll see.
I've got to say your designs have shown me new vistas in the possible. I
have found that (for myself) that LEGO parts usually lend themselves to
thinking "small", but starting with your Vigilis design and the developement
of LDraw I've been able to see the larger picture. I know anything I come
up with there will pale compared to the orginal (besides being nearly
impossible to actually build), it sure is a lot of fun. Thanks, Karim, keep
'em comin'.
