which I got from lu, and which seems to require a fair bit of fiddling
to get it to regulate correctly.

Mine required no tuning at all, if that's what you mean. I tried a similar
configuration to lu's and found that the throw was difficult to get
right.

I don't like the overall size of my regulator, but it works like a champ!
