Registration Opens For BricksWest™ 2002

December 1, 2001—Today the volunteer committee of organizers is proud to
officially announce the opening of registration for BricksWest 2002, the
West Coast LEGO fan event.

Each paid BricksWest registration includes:
-3 day full access to all BricksWest events, conference sessions, tracks and
talks.
-One half-day admission to LEGOLAND California; access to all rides,
activities and games as guaranteed by regular park admission.
-Exclusive LEGOLAND California BricksWest Reception in Mini-Land, followed
by the BricksWest Luau at the LEGOLAND California Diner.
-Exclusive event shirt (design to be announced).
-Exclusive engraved LEGO brick name badge (details forthcoming).
-Cool goodies supplied by our sponsors.

Costs are as follows: Adults - $75.00 per person; Special Family Discount: -
$75.00 for the first adult, $60.00 each additional adult; Children (Ages 16
and under) - $50.00 per child.

restrictions do apply.

About The Event
Designed for the Adult Fan Of LEGO (AFOL), families, and children of all
ages, BricksWest will be the premiere West Coast gathering for fans of the
brick. The event will take place in beautiful Carlsbad, California, home of
the LEGOLAND™ California theme park.

The innaugural BricksWest gathering will take place President's Day Weekend,
February 16 - 18, 2002. Situated one and a half months after the winter
holidays, two days after Valentines Day, and six months away from WAMALUG's
(http://www.wamalug.org) BrickFest™ (http://www.brickfest.com) on the East
Coast, this weekend should be perfect for our ultimate gathering of LEGO fans.

BricksWest is a fan-produced event officially sanctioned and sponsored by
the LEGO Group of companies.

I am still on the fence about going. I have a short <<not>> message about why I posted on our LUG page: <clip> Sorry folks at this point, I got to step out. A number of reasons why, I imagine you can guess some of them... However, if I get some (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.events.brickswest)
