The first one, I'd guess was to relieve stress when an axle is pushed through the hole, and help prevent the bricks from splitting in half. The second change, they filled in (...) Hi all, I've rendered some of the LD4DStudio samples and put them on Youtube. (URL) are in 1280x720 resolution but Youtube scales them to meet your bandwidth, so be sure you select HD where possible. Hey all, It seems to me that since Lego began outsourcing their brick production, a lot of needless mold changes have occurred. I think both policing and specializing is a bad thing. Policing, hiding stuff never solves the problems. Better bash it out in the open and deal with it. Seems I was not the only one to leave this place. :( Can't see how flickr and possibility to edit posts and masking mail-addresses can be the reason for this.
