I think both policing and specializing is a bad thing.
Policing, hiding stuff never solves the problems. Better bash it out in the open
and deal with it. Sure, pure trolls need to go and there are limits. I moderate
in Swedens largest bicycle forum and we only police stuff that brakes the law.
Specilizing is bad because it decrease creaivity. If I only hang in Technic I
might miss out on cool new building techniques posted in Mecha etc.. Id
personally would like to see Lugnet merged into less categories.
Oh well, Im still a long way from unstoring my bricks. Just popped in here to
see whats new and get a feel for the community - only to find it scattered. :(
Hope a community manage to gather most English speaking AFOLS again someday, be
it Lugnet or some other.
