I agree! TLC has to stay modern and try new sub-themes to draw in other would be customers. They have seriously hurt a portion of their customer base with the juniorization of many of the lines. True hardcore Lego lovers like to BUILD their own (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

As a sensor, you could have the laser go into a large piece of quartz or some other rock. When these rocks are hit they make the whole rock glow very brightly, enough that a sensor could detect. You can get pieces for around $1 US, or you should be (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I sympathize with your "end-of-station" pondering. I graveled with that issue for my mere two story monorail track as the front transitioned to the side, then on to the back. I've just been to Tesco's and found they've knocked down the Naboo Swamp set to £1-99 - a good source of brown and green bricks. The transparent dishes are quite classy too, and you get a couple of droids. I've got four of these sets now, which is (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
