Hey, I'd like to sell this 6988.
It has the original pieces, instructions, box, and parts (with one
exception). The original display tray is there, too. However, I lost the
electrical wire, so I replaced it with one about 2 CM's larger (the previously
mentioned "exception"). This makes no difference to the models appearance and
function whatsoever, the wire is hidden inside the pit plate anyway. Also,
the set does not have it's original polybags. The parts will be in ziplock
bags in the box. The pieces are like new, one of the big green domes with a
big "B" on it has a little odd mark, a few CM long, unnoticable unless your
purposefully looking for it. (Oddly, this piece was like this when the set
was first opened). All the clear pieces still possess their original lovely
flourescant green glow/shine, and none of the parts are dirty. The
instructions look like they were never used. The box has whitening around the
edges, but is still strong and in one piece. The inner box frame, that you
slide out, is perfect. I'll include a 9V battery for operating the lights.
On the top panel for the box, there is a price tag. I'd like to sell this set
for at least $100, I'm trying to get money for a Mindstorms RIS. If I find
the set to be worth substantially more (which I doubt) I'll up the asking
price, and if there is a ton of people sending me offers, I'll hold an auction.
