1. No offense Scott S.,

Usually, when I see this, it does mean it, but I digress, I am rather
sick of this discussion to begin with.

but just because something has been discussed before
does not mean it should not be discussed again and that nothing will come of
the conversation.  You have little faith in open dialog, apparently.  This
topic should, however, move away from SW and on to Off-topic.

I have little faith in reiterating this discussion about Lando and
Panaka for the 5th, 6th, 7th, etc. time. I am sick to death of the never
ending tirade about racial issues, from both a LEGO and a worldly
perspective. Can we please drop the notion because of some pigments in
your skin, you are different? Do we have to destroy our favorite
subject, LEGO products, over this? I could care less what the outcome of
this discussion, because, ever since it was brought up, nothing has
happened from the TLC side, or from anyone on LUGNET doing something
about it. Until TLC decides what to do, and since these points have been
raised again and again, why bother arguing about it over and over again?
Just my opinion, mind you, in light of "open dialog." You an type until
your fingers are blue, and it won't change anything.

If I had little faith in open dialog, I probably would not bother being
here. I have stopped participating in off.topic.debate because of the
fact people are not very open to "open dialog" or differing opinions
from non-left political views, and are quite nasty and intolerant. I am
a huge supporter of free speech, the first and second amendments,
especially.

All I am saying, in this endless debate about DSM's, etc, is for
people, especially Damien, if they feel that strongly about it, is to go
to TLC, protest, write letters, call Consumer Affairs, etc, whatever,
rather than bring up the same old & tired arguments, which have been
brought up time and time again. They have to make Lando now, because of
SW, they have to start putting in races in, etc. Look in the Star Wars
listing, and see how many times this has been brought up, and you will
see why my reaction to this latest incineration has popped up.

As for my comments about having a white minifig pack, I was polking fun
at the blackpack comment, since I am not yellow, I do not think LEGO
minifigs represent me, which is turning more red than anything right
now.

Notice that I am not engaging the other points of this initial post,
but I had to respond since Jason mentioned me specifically. Any other
race issues can be handled in off.topic.debate.

Scott S. (S as in Sanburn to you, mister!)

Yo nigga, what the deal? Just to clarify, I emailed Brad Justus a day or two ago and asked him if he might check out the thread that begins with "Who's feelin' the black pack?" when he's got the time. He's yet to reply, but rest assured that as soon (...) (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.starwars)
