Mike & All,

Such as?  I think it is an awesome looking set highlighted by the return of
the 4564 (in red this time) style window.  436 pieces for $40 - an awesome
price point.  Lots of SNOT building techniques employed in a LEGO design.

WOW! This is incredible. As someone who is struggling with his frist MOC
Engine, I think TLC did an excellent job. Thanks goes to whoever got this
out!

Funny, I am also at this point.  I have checked various books from libraries
to
give me ideas but I just don't have the building skills (I have the parts,
though) to create an engine nose piece like an F7 that I am happy with.  Just
minutes before I started reading this thread I was struggling to create
something as good as this new engine.  Now I can simply abandon my efforts and
give LegoDirect a telephone call.

This is the type of design from LEGO that I want to see encouraged and
supported by wildly successful sales.  Context this design with the 4561 -
there is no contest, this is a real LEGO train design that any MOC designer
here on LUGNET would be proud to call their own.

Indeed.

Can't wait to buy one!

Like I need something else to buy! : )

I hear that!  Since I am surving on reduced income my Lego spending is not
quite what it used to be.  I have been planning to buy multiples of Harry
Potter Lego and a few MyOwnTrains locomotives but I think I will pass on
buying
any HP Lego for now.  Multiples of set 10020, 10036, 10037, and 10002 will
leave me way over budget for several weeks.
Ecomonically speaking, I wish this set had not been released until July, but
there is no point to complaining about such a perfect Lego set.  I know I
could
never build a loco this good...
