COLTC will have a 30 x 30 foot layout at the Greenberg Train, Toy, and Hobby Show. We have designed a segmented L-shape layout, and will have no less than 4 loops of running trains (1 loop is way over 100 feet long!!) and 3 monorail trains, and (...) Hi Eli, another point why you can get some sets in one shop and not in the other: The item might be sold out and discontinued. IndyLUG participated in the Parent & Child Exposition this past weekend (Feb. 28-29) at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Part of our setup included a town/train themed layout. Hi, have just been to lego's online store to buy 2 metroliner sets with the extra tourist car add , it's called "metroliner kit". Now you can buy the extrta car on it's own as well as the metroliner on it's own,but when I what looking for these (...) Train Fans, The members of the Greater Florida LEGO Train Club had a display and a great time one again at the Sarasota Model Railroad Club Train Show last weekend (Feb 21-22, 2004). The 24 x 16 ft layout had three running train loops and models by (...) Hi there This is my newest model... I got the idea for the locomotive from a train book, that I borrowed from the local library. For the model I used nearly all my green bricks. Last weekend COLTC participated at the Cincinnati GATS. We were given very little time to organize this, GATS called us just two weeks before the show, they wanted more layouts. Greetings, I was looking at using a reed switch to control some train stuff. Unfortunately I only have a codepilot rather than an RCX. The codepilot accepts touch sensors. Someone else commented that, from the thumbnail, it looks like the 'real thing' That's Jason Railton's Castle class loco underneath Tony Priestman's station canopy, and was photographed by the trainspotter on the platform :-) It's a fantastic venue (...)
