Hi Train fans!

After I had problems with my email provider and afterwards problems with
news setup of my new computer, now I am back on LUGNET!

Several unbelievable things have had happend with LEGO and I could only
comment this on 1000Steine.de.

I'm not only concerned about the color change! Im really frustrated! Since
X-mas I have not even pick a brick!

I do not have bought any new sets in this year! And every set I would like
has new colors. And I will not buy any set, containing any single piece of
these new colors!

I also posted on 1000Steine that I will be no longer interested in
communication with LEGO Officials nor presenting MOCs on public events if
TLC will not bring back the old colors. I will have a last try on talking
about this at 1000Steineland.

Compatiblity and relyability of the most important supplier for our hobby
got lost. They brought back the DUPLO brand and they will have to bring back
gray and brown!

I bet a 2x4 gray brick that this will happen not later than 2005.

For the 1000Steineland I will build a tombstone which will remind of "Gray
Brown", murdered by some fools in 2004!
This will be the single piece I will present. And I'm thinking of a special
printed T-Shirt I will wear...

My next project will be announced at LUGNET without photos. I will email
photos to anybody wants to see it. As long as LEGO did not support us (with
the simplest thing - old colors), I will not support them in any way. And
putting photos on brickshelf is too much support for me!

For me, now its time to get tenacious, to get back what LEGO owes us.

My internet site on Ozbricks is actually down. Don't know why. Otherwise, I
would have closed it now temporarely with a note that it was closed due to
the color change and will be relaunched after bringing back the old colors.

Let the bricks get unbluish!

Dirk

(...) Hi Dirk I completely agree with you regarding the new colours. I also have similar feeling of being let down by someone you thought you could thrust. I only wish and hope that you will not give up the fine parts of the hobby. Creating new (...) (20 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.trains)
