yeah, it should, as both a touch switch and a reed switch ar digital
switches, they can only give a 1 or a 0 to the codepilot

Greetings,

I was looking at using a reed switch to control some train stuff.
Unfortunately I only have a codepilot rather than an RCX.  The codepilot
accepts touch sensors.  I've read (
http://news.lugnet.com/trains/?n=22378 ) that you tell the RCX to treat
the reed as a touch sensor.

My question is, will the codepilot accept the signals from a reed
switch?  Is there anyone out there who has both a reed switch (wired
with a LEGO connector) and a codepilot who could try this to save me
lots of time and effort?

Thanks in advance,
